The Something for
Everyone group is our major activity for adults and older adults and
is very active.

SPRING TRIP APRIL 2011
The Activities for the
2012 are as follows:
January - No activity this month.
February 7 - Keri's Restaurant
(inside Mountain View Inn).
After lunch you can shop for some winter bargains. You might choose
to shop at Ross, Target or Kohl's to name a few. If the weather is
extremely cold we will shop at the mall.
March 6th - "Marvelous March"
(at the church). Our theme
will be "Thanks for the Memories".
Monday April 9th - Wednesday April
11th - Spring Trip - Georgia in the Springtime.
Highlights of this trip include:
Monastery of the Holy Spirit, Callaway Gardens, Andersonville
National Historic Site (a memorial to all prisoners of war) and
Lane Orchards.
May 1st - Jim Oliver's Smokehouse
Restaurant - Monteagle, TN.
We were not able to go in 2011 due to
the flooding conditions. This restaurant serves an estimated 400,000
visitors annually.
June 5th - "A Salute to America" -
'Honoring those who have served' -
12 noon in Wattenbarger Hall.
July
- No activity this month.
August - Trip to Cumberland county
Playhouse - Date and Play
to be announced.
September 4th - "Made in America"
(at the church). We will
be honoring the American worker. You are challenged to bring
something with the "Made in America" label on it.
October 2nd - A trip to our
favorite apple house, Merceir's in Blue Ridge, GA.
We will have a nice lunch then shop
for our apples and fired pies. The restaurant choice will be
announced closer to the date.
November 6th -
to be announced.
December 4th "Winter Wonderland"
in Wattenbarger Hall. The
program will be a slide show of the year's activities.
